Let’s face it — you’re busy. Running your company, climbing the corporate ladder, or leading your people at work or home means you don’t have hours for the gym or elaborate meal prep. Standard weight-loss advice doesn’t work for ambitious, mission-focused women like you.


That’s why I created this quick checklist of high-impact actions designed for professional women who want weight loss results without deprivation or burning out.


Before we get to the checklist... Let me tell you a story.

As a multi-company business owner and mom to a pre-teen, I've got a lot on my plate. I spent many years ignoring the scale and mirrors, and eventually, I didn't recognize myself. I had gained 90 pounds in 5 years, and my energy tanked.


I tried what used to work: Calorie restriction, intense workouts... but now that I was pushing 40 and a business owner, those old tricks didn't work for me. I didn't have the time, and I had zero energy.


It wasn't until I started learning how to care for my body and female hormones that my weight started to shift. Turns out, all the fad diets and quick fixes were keeping me stuck in self-loathing and hindering my weight loss progress.


It's taken a while to lose 40 pounds, but I've learned that growing a business, a healthy body, and meaningful relationships take time, dedication, and devotion.


I keep learning new hormone-loving tools, and I feel more energized in my 40s than I ever did in my 20s and 30s.


What my clients and I have discovered is that when you learn how to care for your body as a woman and ditch the "lose weight quick" marketing ploys, you make real progress in your weight, energy, and show up as the professional woman and boss babe you want to be.

Weight Loss Checklist for Busy Women Professionals


✅ Focus on What You’re Gaining (Not Losing)

Your subconscious doesn’t like “losing” anything. Shift your mindset toward what you’re gaining: energy, confidence, clarity, productivity, joy, and stamina.


✅ Prioritize Fiber from Nature’s Carbs

Think fruits, vegetables, and sweet potatoes, and limit processed carbs like breads, pastas, and fried foods. Aim for 25–30g of fiber daily to support digestion, reduce bloating, and balance blood sugar. Quick hack: Add a leafy green salad to every meal.


✅ Add Protein + Healthy Fats Every Meal

Stay full, protect muscle, and fuel your brain with lean proteins (chicken, fish, eggs) and healthy fats (avocado, olive oil, ghee).

✅ Learn to Metabolically Switch

Snacking and crashing mid-afternoon? You may not be optimized for feminine performance. Intermittent fasting — specifically designed for a woman’s hormone profile — can help you burn fat efficiently, stabilize energy, and sharpen focus.

✅ Move Daily (Even if It’s Just 2 Minutes)

Strength training is gold, but short bursts count too.👉 Try this desk reset every 45 minutes: 10 squats, 10 twists, 30 seconds marching in place.


✅ Schedule Play (Seriously)

Play reduces stress — and stress is a major reason women hold onto weight. Put something fun on your calendar this month and keep the date.


✅ Make Sleep Non-Negotiable

7+ hours. Lights out by 10 pm when possible. Rest fuels hormone balance, weight release, and energy renewal.
